Our vendors create unique designs using traditional batik and tie-dye techniques, incorporating natural dyes extracted from plants or minerals.

Najla is a gifted clothier and artist. Her passion is woven into every thread sewn, every button hand-made, and every design crafted. We were impressed by her eye for our body type and personal style, and how her authentic fabrics are pieces of living ancient Egyptian history. In June 2023, we visited Najla in her quaint Cairo studio and left a couple hours later with a series of garments and memories that we deeply cherish. The following month, now almost 10,000 kms away in western Canada, we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary wearing her loving creations, making our special day even more special.
